Annie loses her innocence and her self as she leaves home seeking to attain the American dream. During her travels through America, Annie is changed in this sinister nightmare of modern society. She returns home with only the clothes on her back, and she is alone.
Everything feels used. Humankind has retrogressed. Everyone is poor, except those that are rich. It is the present. Life like purgatory. A middle-class march with no way forward. A dream ballet of our capitalist nightmare.
